"Scarlett Moffatt wins I’m A Celebrity 2016 after beating Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas in tense final"
This article, published on The Mirror, focuses predominantly on what could follow from the reality stars success on the ITV programme 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here'. This article emphasises the point that Googlebox personality Scarlett Moffatt is potentially on her way to making her first million. I think this itself expresses how the television industry is all about money.
Furthermore, the article also reads that Scarlett's agent (who I was personally unaware she had), is being careful when considering options for Scarlett who is receiving 'interest from both ITV and Channel 4'.
External sources (The Sun) have reported that the Moffatt family are due to leave Gogglebox following Scarlett's upcoming fame. This may lead to controversy and anger from Gogglebox fans, as the family are one of the most known and possibly entertaining characters to star on it. This also may be viewed as Scarlett betraying what enabled her to get onto I'm A Celeb in the first place. Many Twitter users (@ChloeLemon1, @MCJPeel and more) have argued that Scarlett is not 'even a real celebrity'.
I think Scarlett winning is a positive representation of females as she was up against two males, who are arguably more famous than her, and beat them. It is also a representation of regional identity as it is constantly mentioned that Scarlett is a Geordie.

I think you included your opinion well into your response. And I also think the way in which you related the story to representations was effective, however you could go deeper on this, for example can you talk about the way in which the contemporary representation of the working class woman is changing, with Candice now Scarlett winning two of the most highly viewed reality Tv shows, therefore creating a more positive view on the working class female?
